REVIEWS
No Eden has released their debut single, titled “Sin City.” This is the newest project from musician Doug Zed, whose previous band I reviewed and interviewed in the past, and as I like the music he’s created so far, I gave this song a listen, and I loved it. Right away, the guitar riffs in the intro show something I loved about the track - its darker and overall really interesting composition. The drum-driven verses let the vocals show, and the cleans deliver great melodies while the screams provide a bit of aggression that fits perfectly with the darker vibe that this track has. Harder guitars come in once again around halfway through the verses and during the huge pre-chorus, preparing for an extremely catchy chorus. The bridge is a bit softer both in regards to the vocals and instrumentals, giving some elevation the track, and gradually builds up to the final choruses, which are just as catchy and anthemic as the ones earlier in the track. With “Sin City,” Doug shows off the talent he has yet again through a fantastic debut single that makes me curious for what the rest of the EP has to offer. LISTEN TO THE TRACK HERE:
