Australia based pop-rock group The Faim have released their debut single, “Saints Of The Sinners.” The song starts off with kind of an eerie, creepy, mysterious and overall darker tone during the intro and the verses. Initially the intro reminded me of Panic! At The Disco, and I feel like fans of that band’s newer material will probably enjoy this song. The melodies in the beginning of the track are undeniably catchy as well, and have been stuck in my head since I heard the song. The pre-chorus shows off the vocalist’s imprsssive vocal range with the higher notes in the melody. The chorus is so anthemic and the vocal performance on here is incredible. As far as lyrics, one in particular that really stuck out to me was
“We lose ourselves, we lose our minds” in the bridge. Overall, I loved this track and enjoyed it more and more with repeated listens. I think that this is a very strong debut for this band and am curious to see what they do next.
