Postcards From The Moon have released their latest EP, titled “Me Without You.”
Lead single “Just To Make Sure You’re Happy” starts out a bit simpler with acoustic guitar before the other instrumentals come in. The melodies are pretty catchy and this is arguably one of the most memorable songs on the entire EP. Second track “Unbeknown” starts off very similar, as it’s also acoustically driven at first. The violin perfectly accompanies that acoustic guitar and helps carry the rest of that section before the cleaner guitars and drums come in to drive the rhythm of the rest of the track.
Right in the middle of this release is one of my personal favorites on it, “Wish You The Best.” The piano driven intro immediately caught my attention, followed by catchy instrumentals that drive the rest of the intro once they come in. The instrumentals take a slight step back during the verses, allowing the vocals to take the reigns leading up to the chorus, which is one of the catchiest ones on this EP. Fourth is “All I Really Needed,” which is a bit of a ballad and combines many of the elements that the past couple tracks brought to the table, and while there’s not much else I personally have to say about it, it’s still a pretty good track and a better ballad regardless. Speaking of which, that’s something I could also arguably use to describe the final track on here “Eighteen.” This is easily the slowest song on here, with more laid back instrumentals driving it - specifically acoustic guitar, violin and simple percussion during the intro and subtle piano during the verses. As far as the vocal performance goes, the vocals shine the most on this track out of the whole EP, especially during the chorus. From start to finish, “Me Without You” is an EP full of nostalgic pop rock/pop punk tracks that bring plenty of emotion all throughout. "ME WITHOUT YOU" IS AVAILABLE NOW. LISTEN TO THE EP HERE:
