Following the release of “Let Me Go” a little over a year ago, 51st Avenue have returned with another new track, titled “Don’t Want Me."
Echoing synths pair up with some heavier instrumentals to create a dark, moody tone for the intro, while a simple trap beat accompanies the vocals in the verses as they deliver some pretty solid melodies leading up to the chorus. Those choruses are where the song really packs a punch, as the more aggressive instrumentation that carried the intro makes a return and the vocals, and the vocal performance becomes a bit more dynamic. The bridge is another highlight as well, and picks up where the chorus leaves off before soaring vocals prepare the listener for the catchy guitar solo that precedes the song’s outro.
With captivating performances and anthemic choruses, “Don’t Want Me” is a very enjoyable single from 51st Avenue. "DON'T WANT ME" IS AVAILABLE NOW. LISTEN TO THE TRACK HERE:
