Banshee have released their latest EP, titled "Bubble."
Single and title track “Bubble” opens the EP. The intro is huge and kicks the song and EP off well, the verses let the vocals show off, the pre-chorus has melodies as catchy the guitar riffs and drumbeats driving it, leading up to the very memorable chorus. Second track “Erased” really embraces the more indie and pop leaning influences, mixing synths with harder instrumentation, especially during the verses. The vocals only get better and better, shining the most during the chorus, when the vocalist hits some higher notes.
The second half of this EP brings some of the major standout moments on it. “Frienemies” not only brings so much energy, but also some darker composition compared to the previous two tracks. The captivating melodies and overall vocal performance also help make this track such an interesting one to listen to, and easily one of my favorites on the EP. Closing out the release is “You Said,” which is pretty similar to the track before it. This one is also very upbeat and energetic and brings darker composition, harder instrumentals and charismatic vocals, and the musical aspects of this song show the band leaning more towards the rock side in regards to sound. Throughout these four tracks, Banshee shows off their interesting sound and does a perfect job of mixing pieces of pop and rock to create a noteworthy debut. "BUBBLE" IS AVAILABLE NOW.
