A New Hope have released their self-titled debut EP.
The EP opens up with “Thursday But It Feels Like A Friday Night,” which has a lot of energy right from the beginning and so many great melodies, as well as a pretty good breakdown, to make it a memorable opener. “6 Degrees Of Kevin Bacon” and “Big Bag Of Cans With The Lads” are both pretty guitar driven tracks, providing some very catchy and also very impressive riffs that drive the rhythm.
“The Butterfield Diet” and “Quadzilla Vs. Orangutank” lean a little bit more towards easycore rather pure pop punk, mixing the happy sounding melodies with some screaming and darker instrumentation. The EP’s final track is titled “Luigi Board,” which closes out this EP just as well as the first track opened it. More great guitar riffs and bass parts drive the intro while fast-paced drums lead the verses. As a whole, this track is upbeat, undeniably catchy, and just a very fun song to listen to. Overall, I loved this EP. It’s full of very fun and catchy songs to listen to, each bringing something impressive, whether it be a vocal or instrumental performance. LISTEN TO THE EP HERE:
