The Parade by Sad Heroes
This is one of the band's most popular, and it's easy to see why. The dark and mysterious vibe of the song sets the tone for the entire EP it's on, and it not only shows off the band's unique lyricism and songwriting style, but also shows off their sound well and shows just why they stand out.
Father by Northshore
This is the newest track from a band that, in my opinion, might be one of the UK's best newcomers. The emotion is there as always, and the song is catchy in every possible way, with memorable melodies all throughout.
The Sacrifice by Redeem/Revive
This song has always been one of my favorites by this band. I think it shows off their post-hardcore sound perfectly, from the hard hitting instrumentals to the mix between the clean and more aggressive vocals. The lyrics speak about perserverance and working hard to follow your dreams, which is something that a lot of people, myself included, can definitely relate to.
Don't Wake Me Up by Secret Eyes
Secret Eyes are a band whose music I recently rediscovered, and this is by far my favorite song off of their album "Comatose." The vocals on here seriously impressed me, and the chorus absolutely blew me away. It's a song that I could not stop playing since I had heard it.
Grey by Placeholder
This was the first song I heard by this band and I was immediately impressed. There’s just so much emotion in this band’s music, and this song is a great example of that.
Black Rain by Creeper
This is easily one of my favorite songs by this band. It shows the theatricality they have in their sound mixed with their punk-style instrumentation, along with a chorus that you can’t help but sing along to.
Urges by Groves
This was the first song that I heard by this indie rock band. The melodies of this are constantly stuck in my head and some of the lyrics on here are pretty good as well. I definitely recommend this song as a first song to listen to by this band
Shoulda Swiped Left by Crash Overcast
This is the lead single off of the band’s debut EP that came out a year ago, and it shows off their sound perfectly. From the fast paced drums to the incredible guitar riffs and catchy melodies, this may just become a pop punk anthem.
Left Alone by Capital Vices (ft. Ryan Kirby)
This shows the band expanding their sound a little bit and adding a bit more variety. It’s a song that leans more towards metalcore rather than deathcore and definitely stands out in their discography. Ryan Kirby also does a great job with his feature on this track.
Afterthought by House & Home
This is the second single that the band has released and is further proof of why this band stands out in the pop punk scene. The lyrics show off their unique songwriting style and the composition shows how they branch out from the simpler chord progressions and melodies.
