STRANGE CASE ARE PROVING THEIR CASE: HARD WORK PAYS OFFLos Angeles based Strange Case have been on a long journey since their formation, but all this time and hard work they've put into what they do will finally be shown to the public in the near future. "The band got together back in 2015 when our old bass player asked me if I wanted to start up a band," vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mikey Netka says about how the band got put together in the first place. The quartet - completed by lead guitarist Zane Vandevort, drummer Trevor Smith and bassist Shane Hewitt - have started finding who they are as songwriters as they started working on material to put out in the future. "When we first started someone in the band would basically write and entire song and we'd just play it because we didn't have any material but now when we write we all do it together and feed off of each other's ideas," Netka says about the band's songwriting process, "Being in a band has really helped my song writing. As we go along I start to think more creative and progressive than I used to." The band has learned an important lesson or two after being together for around two years. "I'd say the most important thing about being in a band is just remember to have fun. Music should be enjoyed and not forced. Just never give up! Things will go slow when you're starting up a band but always keep your mind on having fun and not just trying to make it big," Netka advises for those who are also aspiring to have a career in music. "People can expect to always see us around! We got an album out this summer and we don't plan on giving up! Stay tuned," Netka hints. With their debut out now, it won't be long until you see just how determined this band is and how much the future has in store for them.
